A Beach WeddingYou may be a little daunted with arranging this part of your life’s journey or you may have it all planned, either way I’m here to help and assist.

For your special day, let me assist you to create a Ceremony especially for you. Romantic, elegant, formal, informal, personal, relaxed – in the park, at the beach, on a mountain or a romantic chapel the choice is yours.

I want to take the anxiety out of the Wedding process and guide you in a creative way to achieve that personalised Ceremony. Part of the service I provide, which many clients find invaluable, is my interactive Wedding Ceremony guide. It covers all aspects of a Ceremony. You will find recording your own ideas does assist in the creation of your unique Wedding Ceremony. It is the little details that add that special touch. It’s your day create the Ceremony that you want.

 

To be Legally Married in Australia  you are required to:

  • CelebratingComplete a Notice of Intended Marriage Form
    This form has to be lodged with me, a minimum of one month and one day to a maximum of 18 months in advance of the proposed Wedding date. I’ll need you to bring with you your identification documents. If necessary, this form can be forwarded to me by return mail.

     
  • If you have previously been married I must sight your Divorce Certificate/Divorce Decree Absolute as proof the previous marriage ended. If your previous partner is deceased I will need to sight their Death Certificate.
     
  • You must both be over the age of 18 years, or have the appropriate court order.
     
  • Prior to your Wedding Day you need to complete and sign a declaration in my presence, stating that you believe there is no legal impediment for the two of you to marry each other.
      
  • Your two witnesses must be over the age of 18 years. Their full names need to be provided as they will be signing your Certificate.

 

Identification Documents Details:

IdentificationYou need to bring with you original identification documents. Any documents in a foreign language must be translated into English  and  in addition, the Translation Certificates are required.

Only bring the relevant documents for your personal situation:

  • Birth Certificates
  • Change of Name Certificate
  • Passports
  • Divorce Certificate or Divorce Decree Absolute
  • Certificate of Nullity
  • Australian Citizenship Certificate (for Refugees)
  • A Court Order for a person under 18 years of age
  • Appropriate Statutory Declarations
  • Death Certificate
  • Official Translation of Relevant Documents

I need to sight these documents for Legal reasons and copies will need to be provided.

After our meeting I’ll keep in touch via the phone or emails and provide you with the drafts of the Ceremony for your comments or any changes. Around two week prior to your special day, we’ll meet and we’ll organise all the finer details of your Wedding Ceremony and confirm your Ceremony’s final draft. This would be the ideal time to have your rehearsal if you want one.

 

The CertificateFor your special day I have a selection of pens and a choice of presentation folders for your Ceremony copy and your Wedding Certificate.  It will be a privilege and a pleasure to present your Certificate to you, on your Wedding Day.
